One of our most beautiful neighbours, and one of the countries that attract more and more tourists every year, is Croatia. It is also a favourite destination for Hungarians. No wonder why, as it takes 5-6 hours to get to the closest beach (from Budapest to Split takes about 7 hours by car).
All year round there are plenty of things to do and things to see. You can enjoy yourself in every season and find your favourite activities! Whether it’s relaxing on the beach, sightseeing, hiking or even mountain climbing.
When is the best time to visit Croatia? The high season runs from June to August and the low season from October to April. In the off-season months, resorts and beaches will be empty. At this time, you should look for other popular destinations such as Zagreb or Dubrovnik.

My first trip to Croatia was by cruise ship. We docked in Dubrovnik several times during my first contract. Then I returned a few years ago to explore new places.
What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word Croatia? Crystal clear water, rocky coastlines, beautiful sceneries, good food, and summer parties. I was completely enchanted. I loved every moment of it. Our accommodation was in Split, about a 10-minute walk from the harbour, in the heart of the city. All our excursions departed from here.
